I hate cameras. They’re so much more sure about everything then I am. - John Steinbeck
It’s easy to understand how the idea of heaven was conceived looking at the clouds.
The clouds float dormant. They drift over the horizon, silently, and elegantly. I was standing on the end of a pier for a sunrise. I watched the clouds absorb the shades of purple until they turned orange, orange until they turned amber, and then amber until they were aglow. I watched the sun drift up over the horizon, sweeping the quiet blue of the dawn, listening to the water move eternally. I watched the clouds absorb the light. I watched them float. I watched the white clouds and I thought. I watched the clouds and thought that when I died, if I die, I wouldn’t mind going to the clouds.
